- Art Museum at USJ: With more than 2,800 works of art, changing installations, a print study room, and a variety of programs for USJ and the public, the on-campus Art Museum provides myriad opportunities for the study and enjoyment of art.
- Elizabeth Park: A five minute walk from campus, Elizabeth Park is on the national register of historic places. Elizabeth Park offers just over one hundred acres of formal gardens, green space, recreational facilities, walking loops, and the Pond House Café.
- Dunkin’ Park: The home field of the Hartford Yard Goats, Dunkin’ Park is a 6,121-seat baseball park in Hartford, CT.

There are 10 emergency call boxes located on the grounds of the West Hartford campus that will put you in direct contact with Public Safety.
When activated, these phones will automatically call Public Safety, announce your location and set off the blue strobe light.
The emergency call boxes should be used whenever you need to contact Public Safety or to summon additional help such as police, fire or ambulance.
