Brooke Scullion has revealed she is ‘a wee bit bitter at the moment’ when it comes to Taylor Swift. The American superstar is set to take to the stage at Dublin’s Aviva for three sold-out nights later this month as part of the Eras Tour. With Dublin set to transform to ‘Taylor town’ at the end of the month, Ireland AM presenters Martin King, Brooke Scullion and guest presenter Kieran Cuddihy discussed the upcoming event. Martin said the singer was ‘certainly owning it now’ as he reminded people of how ‘they couldn’t give away the tickets last time she was here [and] you can’t get one this time.’ The conversation prompted Brooke to confess she was ‘a wee bit better’ towards Swift. ‘I love her but Charli XCX has just released Brat, which is her album, which is the most critically acclaimed album of the year. Now Taylor has now re-released The Tortured Poets Society [Department], which will be very hard to beat in the number one spot,’ the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest participant said. She added: ‘Charli XCX deserves her flowers and I want her to get number one.’ Prompted by her colleagues asking why the Taylor’s vinyl release would affect Charli XCX, Brooke said: ‘If you buy one album then it would equate to a really high number of streams so it surpasses a lot faster in the charts.’ ‘It’s a generational thing,’ she added. Rosanna Davison joins Jurgen Klopp at Anfield as Taylor Swift kicks off Liverpool dates As Taylor’s arrival to Dublin nears, the Love Story singer is currently performing in the UK. The songstress played the first of three shows at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium with Rosanna Davison heading over for the gig. Bringing followers along for the concert, Rosanna revealed she ‘ended up in Liverpool’ due to her brother gifting her the tickets for her birthday in April. Sharing a picture from the concert, the Dancing with the Stars contestant revealed it was ‘the best show I’ve ever seen.’ Today's top videos
