Kuhn and Kuhn Law Firm needs a full-time Receptionist with enthusiasm and loves to work with people.Republican State Senator and Lawyer John Kuhn (and 22-year law partner wife, Augusta Kuhn) are looking for an excellent Receptionist, who likes to work and likes to help people, as well as be an engaged team member who seeks out and shares ideas and solutions.We are hoping to hire a Receptionist who will be here a long time.

Our Boutique Charleston Law Firm, Kuhn & Kuhn, LLC, practices exclusively Wills and Trusts and Probate.Currently we are: 1 attorney (John) who loves working with people and 1 attorney (Shea) who loves drafting Revocable Trusts and Wills for our clients, as well as our Head Paralegal and our younger jack-of-all-trades paralegal. You sit in front of Senator John Kuhn downstairs and are very involved with the law firm.We have several thousand clients (over 22 years) who love to talk to our receptionist, and you need to be versatile and adaptable, and like to professionally talk to people.

You will be trained by our Head Paralegal in answering client phone calls and actually answering clients’ questions.You will also learn to Calendar on Outlook and oversee the whole law firm’s schedule.And, you will be a legal witness and help the team with copying client documents.

You do not need legal expertise or Experience, just a high work ethic and a positive attitude. You need to ensure that all our callers and visitors have a “wow” experience – they feel welcomed, supported, and know they are a priority.

You also need to be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills to accurately manage multiple calendars, competing priorities, deadlines, and various tasks.Therefore, the Receptionist job pays well ($42,000 starting annual) you will be on salary from the start, and will likely receive annual pay raises.Because we all depend upon you, and this is a small law firm, you will absolutely have room to advance with the law firm.

Just like the owner and the Head Paralegal (who also keep the kitchen clean and help with tea and coffee for the staff and clients) you want to keep the downstairs clean for clients.We will train you in what to say to clients in the office and on the phone.

The Receptionist is a vital part of the law firm’s public image, and you will be close to everyone working here.We all eat lunch at the law firm together every day so you will love being close to your co-workers, Michelle and Mercury and John and Shea, as well as law clerks from the two in state law schools.
