They have award winning projects under their belt and were looking for a more dignified representation of the industry as they see it.The overall concept, is intended to represent classical British and Celtic royalty. They did not want to use the lion as their emblem. After researching the industry and looking for a concept that was both noble and regal I offered the solution of the Red Stag or the Royal white stag, in a watercolor and ink medium. The clients were enthralled with the concept. They recognized the dignity in the overall concept, recognizing the antlers represented the crown. The grayscale tones captured the contrast between light and dark in order to add dimension. Overall this was perhaps one of the most beautiful concepts I was able to paint and sketch.
