Most of those ratings updates come in the 2025 class, but also include a couple of 2026 prospects, including a talented quarterback on the rise. Here's this week's rundown, a 16-pack of rankings notes leading off with a closer look at Walker, Fasusi, and others.

Scouting notes: Top247 5-star LB Zayden Walker

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (2)

An updated 247Sports scouting report provides a closer look at Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County five-star Zayden Walker, the No. 1 linebacker and No. 9 overall prospect in the 2025 Top247. Georgia, Penn State, Miami, and South Carolina are expected to get official visits.

Two-way high school playmaker who displays excellent athleticism at multiple positions in a 3-4 defense. Shows the ability to play in an on- or off-ball role in an odd front. Possesses the requisite size and growth potential to add additional weight to his frame. Quick-twitch explosive athlete who shows the ability to win with quickness, burst, and power off the edge. Outstanding play speed with very little wasted motion. Plays as fast as he processes. Shows the ability to stack and shed to defeat blocks with violence in the box. Downhill 'backer who displays the speed and athleticism to play sideline to sideline. Limited context in pass coverage but based on athletic evidence, doesn't appear to be a concern. Heady football player with ready-to-play frame at the collegiate level. Value the on- and off-ball versatility. Projects as a 3-4 off-ball linebacker at the next level who can deploy as a situational pass rusher. Immense long-term upside with early-round potential. -- Cooper Petagna, 247Sports national scouting analyst

Scouting notes: Top247 4-star OT Michael Fasusi

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (3)

Lewisville (Texas) offensive tackle Michael Fasusi sits at No. 38 overall in the 2025 Top247. Here's a look at his updated scouting report.

Gifted O-lineman with true book-end tackle potential. Possesses excellent physical tools and promising athletic context in track and field and combine testing categories. Legitimately 6-foot-5 with long arms and a big reach. Wears mass well and owns space to add more bulk. Multi-sport athlete with 50+ shot put and 150+ discus prowess. Similarly explosive metrics in vertical and broad jump. Shows foot quickness and agility to live on an island in pass protection. Nimbleness translates to movement ability in the run game. Flashes some punch power that should become more consistent with continued development. Improved phone-booth strength from sophom*ore to junior year. Length and athleticism help in recovery vs. twitchy edge speed, but will need to continue technical development to match P4-caliber foes. Somewhat high-cut build and plays upright at times. Getting more comfortable as a convicted block-finishing presence, but can still unleash more mean streak. Entering senior year, looks like one of the nation's top 2025 offensive tackle prospects. Projects as a high-major multi-year starter with physical and athletic specs that suggest early-round NFL Draft upside. -- Gabe Brooks, 247Sports national scouting analyst

Scouting notes: Top247 4-star QB Madden Iamaleava

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (4)

We had a chance to see Downey (Calif.) Warren quarterback Madden Iamaleava -- No. 163 overall in the 2025 Top247 -- Wednesday night at his college showcase and he was very impressive. Iamaleava throws one of the better deep balls in the '25 class and the ball was jumping out of his hand. He throws with an effortless release and doesn't need a big wind-up to get the ball down the field. He throws a very tight ball that is easy to catch and looks like he's throwing with a lot of confidence right now.Iamaleava owns aprojectable frame with plenty of room to add good weight. He'll take his official visit to UCLA this weekend and new Bruin OC Eric Bieniemy was watching him closely all night at the aforementioned showcase. -- Greg Biggins, 247Sports national scouting analyst

Scouting notes: Top247 4-star LB Charles Ross - LSU commit

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (5)

Another updated 247Sports scouting report features a closer examination of LSU-bound Top247 four-star linebacker pledge Charles Ross from perennial powerhouse Galena Park (Texas) North Shore.

A certified freakshow athlete verified at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds with an elite sprints résumé highlighted by a wind-legal 10.36 100. Lined up at outside linebacker, nickel, and occasionally on the line of scrimmage as a pass rusher for Houston prospect factory North Shore as a junior. Owns a multifaceted skillset which should allow him to eventually settle into his home as a true sideline-to-sideline linebacker with plenty of coverage upside. Effective as a blitzer and can redirect to chase down even the most agile quarterbacks and running backs out of the backfield. Must continue to get stronger and better at taking on blocks if he's going to help combat downhill run games on Saturdays. Rareathletictraits and promising on-field context suggest high long-term ceiling. Projects as a developmental second-level defender with the potential of becoming a well-rounded modern chess piece defender with NFL Draft upside. -- Hudson Standish, 247Sports national scouting analyst

Scouting notes: Mark Iheanachor, 2025 4-star LB

Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne linebacker Mark Iheanachor has been dealing with a few injuries this offseason so Wednesday night's college showcase was our first time seeing him in action since the fall season. The first thing that caught our eye was how good his frame looked. He has leaned out some and looked all of his 6-2 listing. He moved really well in space, looked comfortable dropping, and played his usual physical game, flattening a few backs and receivers who crossed his face. He's a two-way player and rushed for nearly 900 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior, but he's being recruited solely as a linebacker. Oklahoma just offered after seeing Iheanachor and he quickly set up a June official visit. Arizona State, Oregon State, SMU, UCLA and Washington are also in line for visits. -- Biggins

Scouting notes: Jackson Christian, 2025 IOL - Texas commit

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (6)

Texas landed a commitment earlier this week from Port Neches-Groves (Texas) high three-star offensive lineman Jackson Christian. Here's a look at the updated 247Sports scouting report on the 6-foot-5, 310-pound Southeast Texas standout.

Big-bodied, physical O-line prospect with tackle experience who might be able to provide roster flexibility at the P4 level. Projects to guard in the long run, but does possess requisite arm length to play outside if needed. Thrives as a drive-blocking presence in the run game who locks on and tries to finish reps. Hand placement is generally a plus. Keeps paws inside the frame to aid steering strength. Displays adequate functional athleticism to get to targets on schedule as a puller and climber. Owns multi-sport reps in shot put and discus. More advanced as a run blocker than in pass pro at this point of development. Still working on balance and body control, especially when engaged. Gets upright at times and can flash more punch consistency. Projects to the P4 level as a potential multi-year starter who could develop into a pro prospect down the road. -- Brooks

New rating: Jayvon Gilmore, 2026 QB

When expanding our rankings for the 2026 cycle in April, a number of quarterbacksemerged who we were excited about, but wanted to see a little more of. That group included Jayvon Gilmore, and after seeing him throw at the Elite 11 Regional outside of Atlanta and then two weeks later the Under Armour Next Camp near Charlotte, we're ready to move him up the board. Gilmore, whose high three-star grade goes from an 87 to an 89 rating, not only has a budding frame at 6-foot-4, 185 pounds, but he's able to attack all different corners of the field. He's coming off a sophom*ore season in which he threw for 1,767 yards and 22 touchdowns. Gilmore will spend his junior year at Gaffney (S.C.) High and has picked up offers in recent weeks from Texas A&M and Arkansas. -- Andrew Ivins, 247Sports director of scouting

New rating: Antoni Ogumoro, 2025 IOL

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (7)

Rising 2025 offensive line prospect Antoni Ogumoro played at Jacksonville(N.C.) White Oak through his junior season, but moved in the offseason to Elgin (Okla.). In Ogumoro, Elgin High gets a big-bodied, tone-setting front-line presence with two-way experience and three-sport participation (basketball, limited throws). Debuting with a high three-star 88 rating on 247Sports, Ogumoro represents a potentially position-versatile prospect with tackle experience and a ceiling that is perhaps higher at guard. He flashes encouraging punchiness and has proven a dangerous assailant when pulling and climbing. Ogumoro is expected to announce a May 21 commitment. He's officially visited Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kansas State, with Missouri expected to host this weekend. Oklahoma has gotten the lone 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast. -- Brooks

New rating: Cameron Settles, 2025 RB

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (8)

Little Rock (Ark.) Parkview Magnet's Cameron Settles continues to see his recruiting stock rise, most recently reporting an offer from the in-state Razorbacks. Settles, a new high three-star 87-rated running back on 247Sports this week, has played extensive two-way snaps at running back and cornerback, displaying impressive football instincts in multiple capacities. As a back, Settles' 5-10.5, 195-pound build projects quite well in the long term, and his 315-pound clean and 505-pound squat speak to his power. His functional athleticism in pads exceeds the data available in combine and track settings. Settles shows initial explosion that he can muster immediately or following block-pressing or hesitation nuance. Though well-assembled, Settles shows that he can get skinny through the hole while stringing subtle redirections to find open grass at the second level. In addition to Arkansas, Settles reports offers from SMU, Oregon State, Memphis, Coastal Carolina, Arkansas State, and several other schools, including Ivy League programs. -- Brooks

New rating: Emile Picarella, 2025 QB

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (9)

Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab's Emile Picarella enjoyed a strong junior season in Fall 2023 and impressed this spring on the elite camp circuit, including a performance in front of 247Sports staff at the Elite11 Oxford Regional. The consistent velocity Picarella has shown in multiple camp settings this spring follows similar returns from this past fall, when he threw for 2,312 yards, 34 TDs, and only three INTs while completing more than 70 percent of his passes (134-for-188). Picarella shows play-extending functional athleticism and pocket awareness, along with encouraging touch consistency in myriad situations. The 6-foot-1.5, 210-pounder led U-High to an 11-2 record and a Louisiana Division III Select state semifinal appearance in 2023. Picarella debuted with a strong three-star 86 rating this week on 247Sports. -- Brooks

New rating: Jason Stokes Jr., 2025 CB

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (10)

Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss cornerback Jason Stokes Jr.owns a number of the physical and athletic check marks that suggest plenty of long-term potential. Debuting earlier this week with a strong three-star 86 rating on 247Sports, Stokes is a legitimate 6-foot-1 with plus length, which aided him in recording three interceptions and five pass breakups as a junior. Stokes, who also played receiver as a sophom*ore and has served as Weiss' punter, got a couple of 200-meter reps this spring, posting a 22.36 PR, per MileSplit. Stokes' multi-sport, multi-phase profile combines with promising physical tools that could raise his ceiling in the long run. He reportedly will take June official visits to Utah, Arizona, and Liberty. -- Brooks

New rating: Josiah Rainey, 2025 CB

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (11)

Sherwood (Ark.) Sylvan Hills' Josiah Rainey debuted this week with a strong three-star 86 rating on 247Sports thanks in part to his track prowess. Rainey recently won the Arkansas Class 5A 100- and 200-meter state championships with times of 10.70 and 21.92, respectively, then followed that performance with a sizzling 10.46 100 and a 21.62 200 at the Arkansas Meet of Champions, per Athletic.net. The 5-foot-10.5, 155-pounder primarily plays cornerback, but does have some offensive and special teams reps. Rainey displays some anticipatory skill in off coverage and some catch-point peskiness in a variety of scenarios. Rainey has reported Memphis, Utah, and Arkansas State offers this month. Texas Tech, Arizona State, and Louisiana Tech have also offered. -- Brooks

New rating: Ja'Bree Bickham, 2025 CB

While we're talking talented corners with strong three-star 86 debut ratings, Ja'Bree Bickham from McKinney (Texas) deserves recognition. Bickham primarily played receiver as a junior this past fall, but his height, frame, and athleticism have intrigued college programs that think he could wind up with a higher ceiling on defense. We agree. Bickham's offensive experience should only help his long-term potential in the secondary, where he will put his 10.98-second 100-meter speed to good use. Bickham, who has also competed in the long jump and triple jump, reported his first offer April 26 from Bowling Green. Since then, he's added Michigan State, Boise State, Arkansas State, and UTEP. -- Brooks

New rating: Marques Uini, 2026 IOL

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (12)

Copperas Cove (Texas) 2026 offensive lineman Marques Uini debuted Thursday with a strong three-star 86 rating and the potential to continue his rise with two more high school seasons to go. Uini played a lot of left guard this past fall, when his older brother, Georgia Top247 four-star signee Michael Uini, manned the left tackle spot. Marques displays good leverage and pad level as he uses lower-body strength and finishing conviction to take targets to the ground in the run game. Uini, who logged some shot put and discus reps this spring, reported his first offer in Summer 2023 from Michigan. Washington State and UTEP have also offered at the FBS level. -- Brooks

New rating: Kheaton Kinney, 2025 DL

Atlanta (Texas) interior defensive lineman Kheaton Kinney recently picked up his first FBS offer, so credit to Sam Houston State for making that happen. While his size is not yet verified, Kinney looks plenty big on tape, and he flashes some close-quarters power and disengagement strength to fit a run-game road block role that he likely fills in the long term. Kinney's multi-sport numbers particularly intrigue us; he reports a bench max of 335 pounds and a squat max of 620. He's also hit 42 feet in limited shot put reps, and for good measure, ran a 5:48 mile as a sophom*ore. Not often you find 300-pounders with that in their arsenal. Kinney debuts with a solidly three-star rating of 85 on 247Sports and we expect other programs to follow Sam Houston State's lead on the offer front. -- Brooks

New rating: Braden Blueitt, 2025 WR - Northwestern commit

Weekly rankings notes: Scouting feedback on several high-profile prospects, double-digit new ratings (13)

Colleyville (Texas) Heritage's Braden Blueitt proved to be one of the most productive pass catchers in the talent-rich Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex this past fall, when he caught 73 passes for 1,127 yards and 20 touchdowns on 15.4 yards per reception. Blueitt is well-assembled receiver who can hurt defenses at multiple levels of the passing game. He displays impressive body control and spatial awareness in contested situations, while also flashing some chunk-play run-after-catch creativity. A newly-rated three-star 85 on 247Sports, Blueitt enters his senior season with more than 100 catches and nearly 1,800 yards across the past two seasons, not to mention more than two dozen touchdowns. -- Brooks
